What is the Amateur Baseball Report (ABR)?
The Amateur Baseball Report (ABR) was developed to provide youth baseball participants the opportunity to gain national exposure and recognition through the orchestration of ABR events and media content. Through our Premier Player Ranking System, we provide individuals the ability to track national player progress and individual standings and offer constructive feedback on specific areas of the game.
With the involvement of USSSA (youth baseball's largest sanctioning body) and USA Baseball programs, the ABR stands alone as the only comprehensive exposure vehicle available to kids today. The serious baseball player and family now have the ability to gain premier level content derived from renowned industry specialists including current players, scouts, and coaches.
What is the ABR Magazine?
The ABR magazine is a youth driven (9U-18U) National Baseball magazine. The magazine incorporates instructional & educational pieces for parents and coaches written by renowned industry specialists, Q&A segments for coaches, USSSA league coverage, USSSA & ABR tournaments/showcase events, USA Baseball 14U NTIS event coverage, featured player journals, and premier player rankings.
Our Mission:
The mission of the Amateur Baseball Report (ABR) is to provide a product that serves as the ultimate source for baseball knowledge and entertainment, while recognizing the accomplishments of players and teams that have participated in USSSA and ABR events; and provide an objective Player Ranking System Nationwide. The ABR will not only unify USSSA and youth Baseball on a National level, but will become the prominent exposure vehicle available to youth baseball; thus distinguishing itself from any other youth baseball magazine.
“The Amateur Baseball Report is the next step in the evolution of USSSA Baseball. USSSA Baseball has always strived to bring innovative and fresh approaches to youth baseball. The ABR will enhance the players’ and parents’ experience with USSSA; along with providing much needed education about the game we all love.”

Exciting news on USSSA Insurance
USSSA Team insurance for 2008 is now available at 2007 rates! All teams should have USSSA team insurance before playing in 2008
USSSA is rapidly moving to a national system that will allow all of our tournament directors the ability to post tournament results much quicker and insuring that all teams receive the points they have earned.
Part of this process is the necessity for teams to put their team roster online at www.usssa.com. For the 2008 season, teams cannot be entered into tournaments if their roster is not on-line. Players First and Last names must match what is on their Birth Certificate.
Before playing in any event please go to www.usssa.com and put your team roster online.
USSSA Umpire Online Registration
USSSA Umpires can now register online and print their registration card immediately. Umpires must be registered to umpire USSSA games.
